How do I change my password?
Go to "My Account" -> "My Data". There you will find the option to change your password.
Why can't I log in?
If login fails, it could be due to several reasons:
1. Wrong password or email: Please check your input.
2. Account deleted: If you deleted your account yourself, recovery is not possible.
3. Account banned: Access is blocked in case of violations of our terms of use (e.g., duplicate accounts).
4. Email not confirmed: Please check your inbox for the confirmation code.
How can I delete my account?
You can delete your account under "My Account" -> "My Data" at the very bottom of the page. Please note that this cannot be undone.
I deleted my account. Can I register again?
If you delete your account, your email address will be blocked for 6 months for security reasons. During this time, you cannot register again with the same email address. This is to prevent misuse.
Why was my account banned?
We ban accounts that violate our terms of use. The most common reason is the creation of multiple accounts by one person. Only one account is allowed per user.

Can I see if a seller has edited the listing afterwards?
Yes, below each ad you will find a timestamp with the date of the last update. However, we recommend that you take a screenshot of the ad for interesting articles or clarify important details directly through our chat function. This way, in case of discrepancies, you will have evidence of what was in the text at the time of your interest.
What should I do if the seller has changed the condition of the item after my inquiry?
Basically, what you agreed upon in the chat or during the purchase process applies. If you notice that essential features (e.g. the price or defects) have been changed without the seller informing you, you should address this directly with them before completing the purchase. A modification of the advertisement does not release the seller from the commitments they have already made to you.
Is MallorcaZero really free?
Yes, registration and posting standard ads is completely free for private users.
How long do ads stay online?
Standard ads remain online for 90 days and can be renewed afterwards.
What does the golden border around my profile icon mean?
The golden border identifies our **Premium Partners**. It shows other users that you are a verified commercial provider and use special features.

Images

How many images can I upload?
You can upload up to 20 images per ad. The first image will be shown as the main image in the list.
Which image formats and sizes are allowed?
We support JPG, PNG, and WebP. The maximum file size is 12 MB per image. For optimal display, we recommend landscape images with at least 1280x1024 pixels.
How can I change the order of the images?
Simply by drag & drop: Click on an image, hold the mouse button, and drag it to the desired position. The image in the first position is your cover image.
My images are not uploading, what should I do?
Please check if your images are in JPG, PNG, or WebP format and not larger than 12 MB. Sometimes reloading the page or trying a different browser helps.

Mailbox

How can I delete messages?
Open the chat with the user. Click on the menu (three dots) in the top right corner and select "Delete dialog". This will remove the entire chat history from your mailbox.
Will I be notified by email?
Yes, you will receive an email notification as soon as a new message arrives in your mailbox.
Can I send images?
Currently, sending images via the mailbox is not supported. Please use email or WhatsApp for this after establishing initial contact.
How do I block a user?
If you no longer wish to receive messages from a user, open the chat, click the menu in the top right corner, and select "Block user".
How long are messages stored?
Messages are stored permanently as long as your account is active. You can delete old conversations yourself at any time.

Myads

How often can I renew my ad?
You can renew each ad for free every 7 days to push it back to the top. Additionally, there is a limit of 10 renewals per 24 hours for your entire account.
Why does my ad need to be reviewed after editing?
If you change the title, text, price, or upload new images, our team must ensure that the content still complies with our guidelines. Your ad will briefly go into "Waiting for approval" status.
Can I change images without the ad being reviewed?
Yes! If you only change the order of images or delete images, your ad remains active. Only if you upload *new* images is a re-review necessary.
What does "To give away" mean?
If you select "To give away" for the price (or set the price to 0), your ad will be specially marked. This is ideal for quickly getting rid of things you no longer need.

Tips for safe trading
Always meet in person in a public place. Do not ship goods before you have received the money. Be suspicious of offers that sound too good to be true.
How do I report a fraud attempt?
Use the "Report" function directly in the ad or in the chat. Our team will investigate the case.

What is a Top Ad slot?
A Top Ad slot is a booked space where you can place one of your ads. This ad will then appear highlighted and always at the top of the category.
Can I change the ad in the slot?
Yes! That is the big advantage. You can move another of your active ads into the slot at any time. The old ad will then become a standard ad again.
What happens after the time expires?
The slot is deactivated and your ad appears again as a normal standard ad. There is no automatic renewal (no subscription).
